copy file from the server to own computer in Linux use command

this is the way to copy file or folder from server ” other computer ” to your computer in ubuntu it is call SSH/TransferFiles

Limitation: You can’t move files between two remote computers. Either the source or destination must be a local file. However, if you log in to a remote machine with ssh, you can copy files between two remote machines on that machine’s command-line.

the topology is    SERVER “202.152.1.111” >>>  YOUR COMPUTER” 192.168.1.111″

login  to server computer

scp <file> <username>@<IP address or hostname>:<Destination>

scp "fileku.akupunya" alfian@192.168.1.111:/home/alfian/Desktop

use -r for folder : for exampe

scp -r "filekufolder" alfian@192.168.1.111:/home/alfian/Desktop
